ANZ Regional Export Awards - honouring export champions

The annual ANZ Export Awards, celebrate New Zealand’s exporting excellence and will be held in all five Export New Zealand regions this year – Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Wellington and Canterbury - with presentations taking place at Award Gala Dinners during May and June.

“Established to recognise the ingenuity, sheer hard work and determination that is needed to achieve success in the complexities of today’s international marketplace, winners have cultivated a point of difference to produce quality goods and displayed the know-how to market them effectively”, Export New Zealand CEO, Bob Walters says.

The range of awards recognise growth and achievements made by innovative companies looking for a gap in the marketplace and entries cover a vibrant mix of successful export businesses.

Previous winners reflect the diverse talents of our export achievers and include Shademakers N.Z. Ltd., Mactec Aerospace International Ltd, Solid Energy and in 2005, 42Below Ltd., BBC Technologies Ltd, Stainless DownUnder NZ Ltd, Syft Technologies Ltd (STL), Noske-Kaeser New Zealand, Trilogy Botanicals and Glidepath Ltd.

"The annual ANZ Export Awards recognise excellence among our exporters, giving the winners the confidence to set higher goals," says ANZ Head of Trade and Transaction Services, Graham Mills.

"It is always a privilege to work alongside dynamic companies who can visualise their ambitions and the means of achieving them. At ANZ we’re delighted with our long partnership with the export industry. We're looking forward to seeing this year's crop of nominations."

The Emerging Exporter Award, specifically acknowledges new export success and is a core part of these events. Presented to exporters who have been exporting substantially for less than three years, it focuses on leadership and direction, excellence in marketing, export strategy and business planning, commitment to quality management and foreign exchange growth.

Regional Emerging Exporters, progress to the Export New Zealand National Emerging Exporter Award presented at the NZTE Export Awards Gala Dinner, in November, this year.
