Thrive Auckland Tickets in Hot Demand
Big Day Out For Business Returns to Aotea Centre

April 3 2006, AUCKLAND: Tickets to Thrive Auckland, New Zealand’s biggest business event, are selling fast. Over 700 seats were sold in the first week of release, and the May 3 event looks set to be another sell-out.

Now in its fifth year, Thrive Auckland 2006 is billed as the ‘big day out for business’ and features another inspiring lineup of top business, sporting and creative talent.

Organised by the Employers and Manufactures Association (Northern), the day-long event is presented in a full theatrical setting complete with entertainment from some of New Zealand’s hottest bands, a full buffet lunch, trade show with 50 exhibitors and post-show networking event.

Thrive 2006 kicks off at 8:30am with an official opening by Deputy Prime Minister the Rt Hon Dr. Michael Cullen and continue through the day to 5:30pm, with a delegate’s cocktail event to follow.

‘Thrive has inspired thousands of business people over the years with its consistent programme of superb speakers” says EMA Chief Executive Alasdair Thompson. “This year’s event is shaping up as the best yet.”

Thrive Auckland 2006 will deliver a line-up of some of New Zealand’s brightest stars, with MC Mike Hosking on hand to introduce a dream team of presenters who will share their personal success stories so the audience can learn first hand what it takes to make it to the top of their game.

Auckland fashion designer Trelise Cooper will update the audience on how she continues to grow her fashion empire around the world. A Trelise Cooper Fashion Show is also on the cards for delegates to enjoy after lunch.

Delegates will also take a ride with motorsport legend Greg Murphy and hear how he drives himself to be the best.

They’ll hear from Craig Norgate, who rose to lead Fonterra - New Zealand’s biggest company - then left to make an even bigger mark as Wrightson’s entrepreneur-in-chief.

Michael Hill, Queenstown-based founder and chairman of Michael Hill Jeweller, returns to Thrive with his incredible story of global success against all the odds.

With these speakers and more, Thrive Auckland 2006 is the best reason Auckland businesspeople have all year to take a full day off work and sharpen the saw. Remaining tickets are available at www.thriveauckland.co.nz
