LAVENDER* APPOINTS TWO NEW SENIORS AS CLIENT LIST GROWS

Sydney, April 21 – Sustained growth by Lavender* has resulted in the appointment of Fleur Marks as Joint Managing Director of its New Zealand operations and Katy Elliott in Sydney as its new Group Account Director.

Will Lavender, the Founder and Executive Creative Director of Lavender* says that Fleur will work alongside Nick Handel in leading New Zealand’s largest independent direct agency, as well as further developing Lavender’s* digital, database and CRM offerings.

“Following our success in signing several new clients, combined with our significant trans-Tasman growth we now have a team of over 70 staff. As a result we are not surprised at all to attract someone of Fleur’s calibre,” Will enthused.

“With her international and local integrated marketing experience, Fleur will be instrumental in growing the agency in New Zealand.”

He said that Lavender* NZ had recently acquired Reckitt & Benckiser, the SKYCITY Action cardholder program, Child Cancer and the Hyatt Regency accounts and were expecting client wins to continue.

Previously GM (Strategic Development) at Draft and Executive Director of Ogilvy One, Fleur has over 12 years local and international brand, direct and CRM experience across blue chip clients such as Vodafone, American Express and Nestlé.

Lavender* Sydney office has also expanded with the appointment of ex-McCann-Erickson’s Global Account Director, Katy Elliott, as Group Account Director.

Katy joins the agency with a solid FMCG background, having played a critical role in developing the brands for several FMCG and corporate clients that included Nestle, Reckitt & Benckiser, Barcardi, MSN and Xpedia throughout Europe.

“Lavender* was my number one choice as an agency because it really understands the changing marketplace; and has a solid track-record in implementing customer-focused campaigns that are critical to any clients’ success.”

Will said both appointments solidify Lavender’s reputation as one of Australia AND New Zealand’s leading agencies.

Lavender’s clients include Westpac, Australia Post, The Australian Financial Review, Pfizer, Biotherm, BT Financial Group, Australian Financial Review ‘Smart Investor’ Fujitsu, OPSM Group and the NSW Government.
