SPE Bar & Restaurant Offers Cure to World Cup Football Fever

SPE Bar and Restaurant (SPE) is pleased to announce that every 2006 FIFA World Cup football game will be screened live from their premises.

Football enthusiasts needn’t fear missing a minute of the action from this year’s Cup as the bar, located at the Symonds Street end of Karangahape Road, will change its opening hours to be open for all 64 matches taking place between 9 June - 9 July 2006 (10 June – 10 July NZT).

Fans can choose from three screens to watch the matches, including a projector screen measuring 2.1 metres long by 1.7 metres high.

To keep sustenance levels high, SPE is offering all supporters $15 ‘all you can eat’ meal packages during every game.

SPE is also encouraging all customers to guess who will win this year’s final by placing the name of the winning team on the back of their business card and entering the card into SPE’s lucky card draw. Following the final match, every customer who guessed correctly throughout the month long Cup will be awarded with a $15 SPE food and beverage voucher.
