TVNZ Receives World Class Honours at International Awards

TV2’s ‘the Gethers’ creative output has been awarded three ‘Golds’ at the 2006 BDA World Gold Awards.

The awards, which were last week presented at the 2006 PROMAX & BDA International Conference in New York, are seen as some of the most recognised worldwide awards for Broadcast design.

TVNZ, in conjunction with its creative partner Ink Project, collected ‘World Gold Awards’ for its overall ‘Gethers’ creative package, its 60 second promo and for its on-screen graphics (see below for more details**).

‘The Gethers’ were created by TVNZ and Ink Project last year to make the TV2 kids' more brand fun and dynamic. The branding imagery has been integrated across all of TVNZ’s kids’ offerings, including on and off-air branding, programming content and TVNZ interactive.

“It’s great to see that our efforts to unite TV2’s fantastic kid’s content under one colourful umbrella have been celebrated at an international level,” says Scott Spicer, TV2 Brand Manager.
