A new Golf House outlet at Millbrook Resort

Golf House Group Ltd and Millbrook Resort are delighted to announce that they will become partners in the running of the golf shop at the five-star Millbrook Resort in Arrowtown.

The Pro Shop will start trading under the new partnership on July 1st and will be re-named ‘The Golf House @ Millbrook’.

The Golf House first opened in 1996 as a small store mainly selling golf art and prizes. Since then it has grown into New Zealand’s most comprehensive golf retailer with a huge range of golf equipment, clothing, accessories, golf art and much more.

The Golf House at Millbrook will be The Golf House’s fourth store, joining the Newmarket superstore, Auckland Golf Club and the Manukau Golf Club.

Millbrook is New Zealand’s premier luxury five-star resort, combining a majestic location with outstanding facilities including a wide range of quality accommodation, an 18-hole championship golf course, world class spa facility, award-winning restaurants, extensive conference facilities and a health and fitness centre.

Managing director of Golf House operations Mr Lloyd Gilmore said today that there was an obvious synergy between the two companies. “We look forward to a highly successful partnership.”

Millbrook General Manager Jan Hunt agreed.

“This partnership enables us to concentrate on providing high quality service and products to our Country Club members and resort guests,” she said.
