Remembering Those Who Can't Remember

Hanover Group employees today joined with many other New Zealanders who will this week ‘Remember those who can’t Remember’ by taking part in Cuppa for a Cause events around the country.

The Hanover Group of companies are proud supporters of Alzheimers New Zealand and employees in Auckland’s Hanover Finance House today gathered to mark the charity’s appeal week (24 – 29 July) by holding fundraising morning teas.

Hanover Group HR Manager Angela Atkins says employees were delighted to support the Alzheimers New Zealand initiative with a gold coin donation in return for morning tea.

“Cuppa for a Cause is an excellent way of raising awareness of a disease which affects more than 30,000 New Zealanders. This year is particularly significant as it’s 100 years since Alzheimers was discovered.”

“Remember that Cuppa for a Cause is not just restricted to appeal week, members of the public are encouraged to hold Cuppa for a Cause morning teas any time of the year and donate the proceeds to Alzheimers New Zealand.”

As a proud sponsor of the Alzheimers New Zealand, the Hanover Group makes an annual donation to the charity and highlights the Alzheimers New Zealand donation line number in many of its publications (0900 41234).
