Better value trail riding

Honda has announced special offers on three of its trail bikes, the CRF150F and the CRF250 / 450X models.

The CRF150F has had its RRP reduced to $5495 from $6150, and for a limited time comes with a BP Petrol Voucher worth $250.

The model had significant upgrades last year, including gaining an electric start. Along with the CRF230F, it replaced the XR200 in the New Zealand market. “The XR200 was an iconic model in many Kiwi’s minds”, said Anthony MacLean, Honda’s Marketing Manager, “and the CRF150 is a great starting point into full size, recreational bikes, for those who don’t want or need the power of the CRF230”.

The petrol voucher offer ends on November 30th 2006.

Remaining 2006 model CRF250X and CRF450X, Honda’s enduro models, now come with a Pro-Circuit 496 exhaust pipe and silencer. The 496 is lighter and liberates extra power over the stock pipe, as well as being quiet (the ‘96’ signifying 96dB). The exhaust system is worth just under $1000.

In addition all 2006 models X’s come with spares kits valued at over $500, to help the last few of the 2006 models find new homes, before the 2007 models arrive. The offer is only while stocks last.
