Hart eyeing Amcor deal

Fresh from taking over Carter Holt Harvey, billionaire corporate raider Graeme Hart is eyeing Amcor's cardboard box businesses in Australia and New Zealand. National Party leader Don Brash suspended caucus rebel Brian Connell in show of strength yesterday, but doubts remain within the party about his ability to win an election and form a coalition government. Brash has alienated another potential coalition partner by suggesting there were few full blood Maoris left in New Zealand, sparking outrage from Maori Party co-leader Pita Sharples last night. New Feltex bidder on the scene
