Big Wednesday Celoebrates First Birthday

Big Wednesday will celebrate its first birthday next week with a First Division jackpot of $7 million cash plus over $1.5 million in luxury prizes on offer, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Todd McLeay said.

$1 million has been added to the Big Wednesday First Division prizes next week, making the total First Division prize pool worth more than $8.5 million.

The next draw is Big Wednesday's first birthday on 25 October 2006 and Big Wednesday players will be in to win:
- $7 million;
- Porsche 911 Carrera;
- Range Rover Vogue V8;
- $50,000 worth of luxury travel every year for five years;
- a $250,000 American Express Platinum card;
- a Mustang luxury launch; and
- a $500,000 bach

In addition, Big Wednesday Second Division has also jackpotted and next week's prize will be worth more than $320,000.

A player who bought their Big Wednesday ticket at Collingwood Foodcentre in Kaikiwi, Invercargill has won a Mercedes Benz in tonight's Big Wednesday second chance draw.

The winning serial number is 415-62798092-13xx.

Every ticket bought for tonight's draw was entered in the second chance draw. The prize won was determined by the H or T selection on the first line of the ticket. As the ticket selection correctly matched Heads in the coin toss in the draw, they won a Mercedes Benz.

"Anyone who bought their Big Wednesday ticket from Collingwood Foodcentre in Waikiwi, Invercargill should check it immediately," Mr McLeay says.

There were a total of 83,231 winners from tonight's draw.
