Henry And laws Sign Up For Five On Live

Paul Henry And Michael Laws Sign Five Year Contract With Radiolive

20 December 2006

RadioLIVE welcomes back Paul Henry to its 4-6pm Drive show in 2007.

After filming a major documentary series over the past year, Henry says he is keen to get back behind the microphone.

“This show offers me a fantastic opportunity to explore and debate the issues in more depth. I am particularly looking forward to the opportunity of holding our politicians to account at both ends of the day.”

Weekday morning host Michael Laws has agreed to extend his contract with RadioLIVE for a further five years. Mr Laws broadcasts his 9-midday program from Wanganui.

“RadioLIVE is the future of talk radio. It is a combination of news, entertainment and provocative, thoughtful comment” said Mr Laws.

Program director Mitch Harris said he was looking forward to a reinvigorated RadioLIVE in 2007.

“Paul is an outstanding broadcaster and we are thrilled that we will have the benefit of his talent once again while Michael’s decision to commit to LIVE for the long term underscores the success of his show which is redefining talk radio in this country.

Mitch Harris paid tribute to James Coleman, the current host of RadioLIVE’s drive program. “James has significantly developed his skills as a broadcaster. We plan to continue to use his many talents in 2007.”
