Customers can finally say good bye to Telecom and receive all services on a single bill

Announced:
 Slingshot homeline service - $42.95 a month
 Slingshot homeline launch flat rate calling packs:
- unlimited national calls - $19.95 a month
- unlimited international calling packs (40+ destinations) - $44.95 a month.

New Zealand, Auckland – Wednesday 24 January, 2007 - Slingshot part of CallPlus, New Zealand’s largest 100% kiwi owned full service telecommunications company, has announced the launch of homeline services throughout New Zealand to meet rising demand from customers wanting to bring all of their current services to Slingshot.

Martin Wylie, CEO for CallPlus says, “The homeline service will initially be wholesaled through Telecom with the intention of leveraging Naked DSL, LLU and the roll out of our WiMax network over the next couple of years. There are currently no viable alternatives to providing a fixed line replacement service for residential customers, but this announcement shows we are focused on changing this.”

As part of the Slingshot homeline launch flat rate calling packs are being introduced for customers to make an unlimited number of national calls to a New Zealand landline for $19.95 a month. There are also cost saving international calling packs, which offer unlimited calls to over 40 destinations around the world for just $44.95 a month.

“2007 is going to be an exciting year for Slingshot and our customers,” says Mark Callander, General Manager Sales and Marketing for Slingshot. “Slingshot will be positioned to maximise the opportunities in the emerging unbundled world. The first phase of this process is maintaining the sole relationship with our customers for all services. As new services are developed we will allow these customers to seamlessly transfer to enhanced services at lower prices – it is as simple as that.

The Slingshot homeline service is $42.95 a month. A range of additional smart phone features can be selected including wire and maintenance with additional charges applicable.
