Orcon launches Telecom Home Phone Alternative

Orcon launches Telecom Home Phone Alternative

From today, New Zealand's largest Kiwi owned Internet provider and fastest growing telecommunications company Orcon is providing a true alternative to Telecom home phone services. With the launch of Orcon Homeline, New Zealanders can stop paying Telecom for their home phone and move all their services (Internet, phone & tolls) to a truly customer focused provider.

"Our customers have been crying out to ditch their Telecom bill ever since we began offering Internet services. Now they can once and for all. Kiwi’s have had enough of dealing with Internet and phone companies that treat them like a number, and fail to answer support calls in acceptable timeframes" said General Manger, Scott Bartlett.

With an all inclusive price and no hidden wiring and maintenance fees, Orcon Homeline offers a great alternative to the Telecom service.

"Rather than confuse people by advertising a lower price (like some of our competitors) and surprise people with a wiring and maintenance fee, or worse, a huge bill, we wanted to be upfront with customers from the beginning. It is also about certainty of service and certainty of price, New Zealanders have seen their Homeline prices continue to go up in recent years, and we are committed to bringing them down with the introduction of Local Loop Unbundling" continued Bartlett.

Orcon continues to enhance its toll calling service, now offering capped calls to landlines nationwide, as well as 6 international destinations. These are in addition to outstanding per minute rates to destinations around the world.

"We have got some big plans for the next eighteen months. At Orcon we are a group of Kiwis who are proud to deliver services to New Zealanders that make their lives easier" concluded Bartlett.
