Online Learning Into Real World

nzgirl Ltd, renowned for its award winning online magazine www.nzgirl.co.nz, has proven today that traditional business models can learn from the wonders of the internet.

The opening of their second physical retail store - this time in the country’s capital, marks the next step for nzgirl in taking the successful online publication and establishing it as a lifestyle brand.

“After nearly 8 years in business, nzgirl has learnt so much about its customer base which has made transferring our brand from online into a physical presence a seamless proposition. The online business has taught us how to move quickly and to stay ahead of the competition. The internet is a rapidly expanding and changing entity and one that only the fittest businesses can survive in. nzgirl has become a stalwart of the New Zealand online industry and our experience provides us a platform to take into other areas and in turn makes us a fierce competitor. Our vision is to become a leading clothing retailer in New Zealand for the mid 20’s women’s market and because of our strength and knowledge already cemented in this market, we know how to make it happen and quickly,” says Managing Director and Founder, Jenene Freer.

The retail offering from nzgirl already boasts a full 40 piece clothing collection (including corporate, casual, evening and exercise wear), a cosmetics range, make-up artistry service, jewellery and underwear range and is available in the online store (www.nzgirl.co.nz), nzgirl Nuffield Street Newmarket and nzgirl Custom House Quay, Wellington.

The trademarked nzgirl brand was established in 1999 and has grown to 65,000 members (with up to 2000 new members per month) and 215,000+ unique visitors each month – placing it as one of the most popular websites in New Zealand.
