InvestmentLink launches comprehensive e-commerce technology solution for KiwiSaver fund providers
Leading e-commerce IT systems provider InvestmentLink today announced the launch of a comprehensive suite of solutions to support managed fund providers offering KiwiSaver schemes or Portfolio Investment Entities (PIE funds) to New Zealand investors.
Gatekeeper, the first module in this suite of shared industry infrastructure technology products, is a solution for interfacing with NZ’s Inland Revenue Department (IRD). This interface is a requirement for every KiwiSaver scheme to receive saver contributions collected via the PAYE system. Gatekeeper functionality also handles Taxation of Investment Income (ToII) messaging.
Gatekeeper has already attracted a number of key early adopters, including Mercer NZ. It provides a cost-effective and low-risk way for product providers to deliver a KiwiSaver fund or range of funds without having to build their own significant IT infrastructure.
Mr Peter Philip, Chief Executive Officer of InvestmentLink Australia, said the company had leveraged its market-leading expertise in Australian superannuation processing to deliver Gatekeeper to KiwiSaver providers.
