Concordia makes two further
strategic appointments
Management and workplace consultancy Concordia has appointed dispute resolution and conflict management specialists Paul and Felicity Hutcheson to its Wellington-based team.
Concordia’s expert consultants utilise proprietary tools to provide organisations with a uniquely in-depth view of their workplace, to form a basis for recommended management and leadership strategies.
Bill Rainey, Director, Concordia says that as a team Paul and Felicity are a potent force in Assisted Dispute Resolution (ADR) and conflict management.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Paul and Felicity
to Concordia,” says Rainey. “They are both highly
regarded in their particular areas; Paul as an expert
facilitator/mediator and trainer; and Felicity in workplace
conflict management, mediation training and supervision.
“Both have undergone advanced training with CDR
Associates of Boulder Colorado, “he adds. “For many
years, CDR has been acknowledged worldwide as an ADR leader,
being at the forefront of developing modern conflict
management theory and practice.”
The Hutcheson’s link with CDR is strategically opportune for us as Concordia establishes its own global presence, with markets such as the United Kingdom, Ireland and South East Asia embracing its innovative workplace diagnostic tools.
”Organisations worldwide are starting to realise the benefits of taking a more proactive approach to conflict management – not just with the time and cost savings achieved through effective conflict management practices, but also by developing cultures that sustain business excellence,” says Rainey.
Paul and Felicity Hutcheson say they had been looking to join a leading New Zealand-based Assisted Dispute Resolution consultancy and Concordia stood apart from the rest.
“We are aware of some of the impressive results Concordia has been achieving for a range of organisations, especially in the area of developing business improvement through culture change” says Paul Hutcheson. “Concordia’s proprietary ADR tools and solutions are also some of the most robust we have seen in the world, so we are looking forward to working alongside the authors of these tools, to help even more organisations improve their performance and productivity.”
The appointments of Paul and Felicity Hutcheson to the Concordia team follow last year’s partnership with Henley Management College’s leadership expert Dr Paul Aitken, and the appointment of research and management specialist Margaux Clermontel as Research Manager.
