Four Month old website Ranks 6th in NetRatings

Girls Day Out Website Ranks Sixth in Nielson Net Ratings

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

2nd August 2007

Just four months after launching, New Zealand’s newest online destination for women www.gdo365.co.nz is one of the top six most visited sites by women aged 25-34 according to Nielsen Net Ratings.

Senior Editor Je t’aime Hayr says the results are indicative of the GDO365 goal to become the most popular online destination for New Zealand women. “We launched in February telling the market that we would become the largest online destination for New Zealand women because we have something for every woman – and we are on our way.”

GDO365 is the first online destination in New Zealand designed to connect with women at every stage of their life and has been created for women aged 15-60+. The site is updated daily with over 200 new articles created each month, ranging in topics from fashion and beauty through to lifestyle, health and parenting.

The website also boasts a unique content partnership with www.fashionz.co.nz – one of New Zealand’s most visited fashion sites. As sister sites, this strategic alliance provides businesses with the opportunity to utilise New Zealand’s large fashion and beauty network, as well as access to an email database of over 80,000 New Zealand females.

Je t’aime says that unlike many other New Zealand websites the majority of GDO365 traffic is from New Zealand. “We are proud of the fact that most of our visits are within New Zealand - that’s an important distinction. GDO365 is a site focused on what it is to be a woman living in New Zealand. Our articles are relevant and informative – designed to meet the needs of all New Zealand women and this rating shows we are hitting the mark.”
