Bizness Connect.Com forms wireless
company
Hastings based company “Bizness Connect” who successfully won the 3.5GHz radio spectrum licences for Hastings, Central HawkesBay, Masterton, Tararua, Carterton and South Wairarapa has formed a company called “Swiftnet Limited” to deliver it’s high speed wireless broadband to the regions it has licences to serve in using the WiMAX technology.
Swiftnet has been formed with the aim to develop a WiMAX network to address the lack of access to quality, affordable broadband to rural and under-served communities and businesses
These licenses in conjunction with the capabilities of the WiMAX technology gives Swiftnet the opportunity to make reality the deployment of a WiMAX network that will provide an option for customers to join or upgrade from their existing service provider to a provider that will deliver a far superior quality of service that is more reliable, consistent, and cost effective.
“We welcome any rural or under-served communities or businesses who reside within our licensed areas to make contact with us, we would be only too happy to arrange to meet with you as a collective to identify your needs and see where Swiftnet can help especially farmers Reihana Sciascia the COO of Swiftnet Limited says, “farmers play a large part in the rural economy and require high-speed broadband to help run their businesses efficiently, most farmers are only receiving dial up and where internet is not available farmers are being forced to sign up to costly satellite services just to get a connection”.
