AIM Proximity attracts top talent to Art Director role

Tony Clewett to partner CD Dave King


AUCKLAND 22 August 2007 – AIM Proximity, New Zealand’s leading direct and interactive marketing agency today announces the appointment of Tony Clewett to the role of Art Director, working alongside Creative Director, Dave King.

Tony joins AIM Proximity from Rivet NZ (formerly Draft NZ) where he led creative for high profile clients such as Vodafone, Genesis Energy and Les Mills International.

Tony brings over 15 years’ direct marketing experience in the NZ and UK markets. He was instrumental in helping London-based agency TBWA/GGT maintain its ranking as the No. 1 agency in the UK and he has won numerous local and international accolades. These include: Gold and Silver Direct Lions at Cannes, acceptance into D&AD, Gold and Silver Echos and Best Art Direction at both the UK’s DMA Awards and this year’s NZ Direct and Interactive Marketing awards.

Dave King says, “I put out the feelers before coming back to New Zealand and Tony was recommended to me. He’s got a great book and seems to be a really nice guy who everyone speaks very highly of, so I’m delighted to have him here. It should be fun.”
