Liquor Information Pricing Search (LIPS) recently celebrated obtaining 1,000 members to www.lips.net.nz, by offering users a new search filter to find the best advertised liquor deals at their favourite retailer.

As well as being able to search FREE anytime and compare current advertised liquor prices across all retailers nationwide, LIPS' members can now also search for hot deals at their favourite retailer. Members can also search by more regions now and find the best local deals on their preferred beer, wine and spirits brands. "The new search filters enable our members to find what great deals are currently being offered locally by their favourite outlets, as well as nationally" says LIPS' Director, Sean Jowers.

LIPS launched their FREE liquor pricing search website, www.lips.net.nz, in April 2007, after several requests from family, friends and trade clients. "We had been providing liquor suppliers & retailers with our pricing data through our trade site, www.lipsltd.co.nz, since 2003" says Sean. "LIPS.net was just the next logical step for the business to broaden the data's use and availability".

In the 5 months since launch, users of www.lips.net.nz have searched for over 5,000 deals on more than 6,000 liquor products.

It's not just about price either! While visitors can join LIPS FREE and search to find the best advertised liquor prices anywhere in New Zealand, the search results also show various offers including fly buys, free gifts with purchase, competitions and more. Advertised offers on beer, wine, spirits and RTD products are recorded from newspapers, mailers, flyers and email offers from leading retailers all over New Zealand. The data is uploaded twice daily to LIPS' websites.

LIPS also offer LIPService to members who want to be emailed the search results on their favourite liquor brands each week. LIPService members also receive exclusive offers from leading retailers and suppliers and the chance to win great monthly prizes. Members can subscribe to LIPService for as little as $5 per month. There are also some great savings for HANZ members.
