'One-Product-a-Day' Deal Site Specials Faster

'One-product-a-day' deal site offers specials faster

Online e-commerce website FirstIn.co.nz has launched a new website that sets new standards in online commerce, together with an expanded range of products for the innovative site.

FirstIn was launched three years ago and has grown to become one of the most successful sites of its kind in New Zealand. Offering 'one deal a day' deals, the site started life offering tech products to a young, tech-savvy audience.

"We've still got a lot of IT types who love the site," says FirstIn co-founder and director Adam Brown, "but now we're offering a considerably expanded range and also offering clearance stock from retailers that offer the best prices for household items. We're really focused on building value in our product range." Firstin is not an auction site, but offers products at special, low prices. The 'catch' is that products are on sale only for the day and so users, who number in the thousands, receive their daily email in the morning and catch the best deals.

"It's like a big like 'grab-a-seat' in that you need to check the email to see what we've got," said Mr Brown. "But we've also got features that will let people know with some certainty what we've got coming up." The site also has a blog with tidbits from around the IT industry and is looking to launch some exciting and innovative sales features within the next month.

"It's designed to be fast and functional," said Brown. "We're all about delivering value, fast. If we don't do that, then we're not doing our job".
