New marketing manager for Queenstown villas

Press release from Villasqueenstown.com
Monday 29 October 2007

New marketing manager for luxurious Queenstown holiday villas

Coinciding with their launch of Commonage Villas, Queenstown’s newest five-star alpine luxury holiday accommodation, the villasqueenstown.com team has expanded to include new recruit Jessica Trimming.

Jessica has been appointed in the full time role of Marketing Manager and, together with Victoria Shaw, manager of Eichardt’s Private Hotel, will be responsible for marketing Commonage Villas as spacious and beautifully appointed holiday accommodation ideal for families, couples, honeymooners or groups of friends.

This accommodation aspect of the business also combines management of the luxurious villas on behalf of owners, with superior guest and concierge services provided by the team at Eichardt’s.

On the villa development side, Jessica will support villasqueenstown.com Directors Ross Marett and Wayne Foley to offer investment opportunities complete with ownership structures and turnkey fitouts to discerning buyers.

South African-born Jessica is a former Sales and Marketing Manager for Fly By Wire and has worked in the Queenstown tourism industry for four years. She came to New Zealand with a sales and insurance brokering background in the private banking and aviation sectors.

Ross Marett says Jessica’s appointment comes at an exciting time for the company.

“We’ve just launched Commonage Villas in partnership with Eichardt’s, so Jessica’s strong marketing and business development skills will be crucial in helping to establish our high-end accommodation business.

“She’s a creative, strategic thinker, and has an enthusiastic can-do attitude which makes her a great fit in the team,” says Marett.

Jessica, 26, says that while she has a holistic approach to marketing, her strengths also include market segmentation and targeting. She also brings a wide network of business contacts and local knowledge to the table.

“My story is similar to many others - I first came to Queenstown four years ago and fell in love with it,” she says.

“I’m relishing the challenge my role at villasqueenstown will bring. The products I’m marketing are world-class and absolutely stunning.”
