Sanyo: new ultra mobile widescreen projectors

Introducing Sanyo’s new ultra mobile widescreen projectors

Two new SANYO widescreen data projectors released in New Zealand this month transition effortlessly from the boardroom by day to home theatre use at night.

The PLC-WXU10 and PLC-WXU30 are ultra mobile widescreen data projectors ideal for tech savvy enthusiasts who want the ultimate presentation tool to team with the latest generation widescreen laptops. They provide crisp clear presentations for boardroom use with ‘True Wide’ XGA 1280x800 resolution. The premium PLC-WXU30 boasts an astounding 3,700 lumens - over 1500 more lumens than standard model projectors and perfect for large rooms such as conference venues.

A wireless/wired LAN card in the WXU30 offers excellent versatility, virtually eliminating the need for cumbersome video cables when presenting in large open spaces. Greater flexibility is achieved by offering the option of both D-Sub, DVI-D and component video input.

And when the work is done, the new ‘Power Off and Go’ ability enables the user to unplug the projector and leave straight after a presentation – no lengthy wait for the projector to cool down.

The Managing Director of SANYO for Australia and New Zealand, Bill Crichton believes the PLC-WXU10 and PLC-WXU30 will lead the field in the new category of wide screen data projectors. “The increased resolution, high lumens count, wireless capability and Power Off and Go functions make these models a standout for business settings ranging from small meeting rooms to large conferences. And when they work’s done, they’re also a great home theatre projector – the perfect mix of business and pleasure.”

The SANYO PLC-WXU10 and PLC-WXU30 will be available from November at specialist audio visual dealers, retailing at $2999 and $3999 respectively.
