Barfoot & Thompson Colouring Competition

7 November 2007

Lucky winners drawn in the Barfoot & Thompson Colouring Competition

Two Auckland schoolchildren will ride on the Barfoot & Thompson Gingerbread House float in the upcoming Auckland Santa Parade after winning the real estate company’s annual colouring competition.

The judges chose entries from Oliver Evison (8) of Henderson and Alicia Howard (11) of Blockhouse Bay from the hundreds of colourful entries that flooded in this year.

The winners will get to dress up in theme and ride in the parade on the Barfoot & Thompson Gingerbread House float on Sunday 25 November. The float will be accompanied by 20 Barfoot & Thompson staff wearing blue, red and yellow ‘house’ costumes.

The 18 runners up in the colouring competition will each receive a $20 gift token and many of the entries will be displayed at Barfoot & Thompson offices around Auckland.

This is the fifth year that Barfoot & Thompson has supported Auckland’s annual Farmers Santa Parade.
