Air New Zealand scoops three TUANZ Awards

Air New Zealand scoops three TUANZ Business Internet Awards 2007

Air New Zealand's innovative online solutions for travellers have seen the company win three categories at last night's TUANZ Business Internet Awards 2007.

The in-house designed and developed application "How Far Can I Go?" enabling customers to select a travel destination based on the amount the wish to spend won the "Experimentation" and "The Best of The Best" awards, while the company's home-grown online ISIS booking engine picked up the "e-Commerce Award."

Air New Zealand's Chief information Officer Julia Raue said today the awards reflected Air New Zealand's commitment to delivering world-leading online solutions to its customers.

"The Online Sales and IT Innovation teams are so passionate and focused it is fantastic to see them rewarded with this level of external recognition," said Ms Raue. "Air New Zealand prides itself on being able to offer online customers a unique experience when they visit our website. We want them to have some fun as well as enjoy a raft of clever and practical solutions that enable them to book their holidays and flights." Ms Raue also said that the company is fast gaining recognition as one the most coveted places to work in New Zealand for creative IT enthusiasts.
