AIM Proximity Secures Yellow Pages Account

AIM Proximity and Colenso BBDO secure integrated communications account of Yellow Pages Group as direct and digital marketing play greater role

AUCKLAND, 28 November 2007 – AIM Proximity, New Zealand’s leading direct and online marketing agency, along with advertising agency Colenso BBDO, have won the integrated marketing account of the Yellow Pages Group.

Director of Marketing at Yellow Pages Group, Blair Glubb, said “We set out to appoint the agency partnership with the strongest integrated model, and in AIM Proximity and Colenso BBDO we know we got it right. Yellow Pages Group is moving increasingly into direct and digital, so it made sense to choose the industry leader, AIM Proximity, and leverage their strong partnership with one of the country’s greatest creative agencies, Colenso BBDO.”

Mr Glubb continued, “The future for Yellow Pages Group is a compelling one as we consolidate our position as New Zealand’s favourite ‘find-it’ people. We look forward to working with AIM Proximity and Colenso BBDO to leverage that leadership further.”

AIM Proximity CEO Darryn Melrose said “We work increasingly with those New Zealand companies that are developing online strategies as a key part of their business, and Yellow Pages Group is no exception. While we already had a strong relationship with the company, their decision to award the new integrated account to AIM Proximity and Colenso BBDO shows that online marketing will play an even more strategic role in the future.”
