Tika Merino Apparel Now Zque-Certified For Sustainability And Animal Welfare Best Practices

ALEXANDRA, New Zealand, February 4, 2008 – tika limited announced today that its entire apparel line for men and women is Zque-certified, an accreditation process that ensures the highest quality, all natural, ethical, New Zealand merino wool. tika will present the line and educate retailers on the Zque program at WWDMAGIC in Las Vegas, Nevada, February 12-15, 2008 BOOTH NUMBER: WS-16815.

tika solely sources fabric made from Zque Merino (http://www.zque.co.nz), a new fiber category known as "ethical wool." Zque Merino is traceable back to the source and accredited to ensure compliance with environmental and social sustainability and animal welfare criteria. Developed by The New Zealand Merino Company, the Zque program provides an assurance that certified merino fiber meets a broad range of quality and production standards – from farm gate to finished product.
