CASMA Fall Conference; Request for Speaker Proposals

CASMA is finalizing the 2008 fall Conference agenda, speakers and workshops scheduled for October 13-17 in Auckland, New Zealand and is soliciting Requests for Speaking Proposals now through close of business on June 13. All requests must be submitted by the end of business on June 13, 2008 to be considered.

Fall 2008 Conference Theme
The
2008 Conference Theme is `Charting New Horizons: Sail into
the Future’. Based on previous attendee feedback, several
potential workshops and panels have already been identified.
If you would like to participate in one of the following,
please submit your request to CASMA; and additionally, if
you would like to propose a new topic, we encourage them as
well!

For submitting a new topic, a successful speaking proposal will include a well documented recommendation on subject matter experts for speaker selection. CASMA will coordinate all presentations including speaker invitations, scheduling, content, moderator selections, etc.
Keynotes
Keynote speaking
opportunities are part of sponsorship benefits and are
typically not included as proposals submitted for upcoming
conferences. There are limited 30 minute keynote slots
available for the opening session. If your proposal is for a
keynote there is a sponsorship requirement. Keynote speaking
requests are subject to agenda availability and will be
processed in order of sponsorship value starting with the
Diamond level sponsors first.
Content
Content must be
relevant to the audience and cannot be a commercial for an
individual company, service or product even as a keynote.
CASMA is accepting all proposals for new topics as well as
topics requested from our members.
Submitting a
Proposal
Send an e-mail to Wendy Ward, Co-Chair of the
CASMA Advisory Council on Conference Content at
wward@uatp.com listing the Topic's Title, a brief 1
paragraph description of the workshop, list of all speakers
and titles with preliminary agreement to participate,
objective statement outlining what the target audience will
achieve through attendance, 10 proposed questions if the
proposal is for a town-hall and 3 proposed questions for the
audience if the presentation is for a workshop.
All proposals must be received by close of business on June 13 to be considered. Proposals received after June 13 may be considered however there are no guarantees of acceptance.
**Note that any and all presentations become the property of CASMA and will be posted to CASMA's member website for reference post-conference.
