Steven Condie and Marcus Ganley will be joining Chen Palmer in early 2009 as senior associates.

Steven Condie has been a Senior Lawyer and Section Leader in the Treasury Solicitor’s Department in the United Kingdom since 2002 specialising in public and commercial law. A lawyer of some 16 years standing, Steven has also worked for various other Government Departments in the UK, Freshfields, Clifford Chance, and in New Zealand, ACC and Brookers.

Marcus Ganley has recently been a senior advisor in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the House with primary responsibility for government legislation. Previous to this he was an adviser in the Office of the Prime Minister and various other ministerial offices and Government Departments. Marcus has also lectured at the University of Auckland, the University of Notre Dame Australia, and the University of Western Australia. Marcus graduated with a Master of Arts (First Class Honours) in Politics in 1998 at the University of Auckland, a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) in 2002 from Victoria University of Wellington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Public Administration in 1995 from the University of Queensland.
