Vodafone jumbo sizes mobile internet

Nearly half a million customers are using Vodafone’s $1/day mobile internet casual rate but customers tell us they want more so Vodafone is launching $10/month mobile internet.

For $10 customers get 100MB of data to use when they need it within the month. The mobile internet 100MB bundle rolls over each month but customers can opt out at any time.

“Customers have taken to the $1/day casual rate in the hundreds of thousands. They love the flexibility, they love the accessibility of the internet on the move and they tell us they want more. So now they can get ten times the amount on either Prepay or On Account and use it when they need it,” says Kursten Shalfoon, Vodafone’s GM of Internet and New Media.

“With 100MB customers can download 30-40 full track music singles, download the entire works of Shakespeare twenty times over or post thousands of updates to Bebo, Facebook, Twitter or another of the other social media pages from wherever they are in the country.”

Business customers don’t miss out either. Mobilise your data, get your email on the move, take your business out to your customers and work with them instead of with your internet constraints. And the $10/month plan can be used either as a tethered modem or by putting your SIM directly into a Vodem or Vodafone Connect Card.

“Vodafone has lead the way with mobile data and we’re going to continue driving the market. Nobody else comes close to offering these kinds of rates in New Zealand and we’re not done yet. There’s more to come in the months ahead,” says Shalfoon.
