TOWER helps advisers prepare for the new regulator

TOWER helps advisers prepare for the new regulatory environment

TOWER Health & Life has launched a significantly enhanced Electronic Advice Process (Best Practice), which is part of its independent adviser software suite.

As well as helping to gain better client ‘buy in’, Best Practice can assist users of the programme to demonstrate ‘proof of process’ of their care, skill and diligence in providing personal risk advice. This concept is central to the purpose of the proposed adviser regulation which has featured a lot in the media in recent months.

Best Practice can be used for simple one-product sales or for a full review where it has been requested. Available through OPTIMUS®, this advice process can also be paper based if required.

Not only is it very simple to use, but regular users may find that they can generate more premium per customer by taking their clients through a full needs analysis and identifying opportunities for cross-selling.

Users are also likely to significantly reduce the time that it takes them to develop client-focussed reports because they are able to control the content by using their own templated wording.

“The Electronic Advice Process (Best Practice) makes the advice process very seamless and ensures my internal processes are compliant and professional. From what I have seen, no one else in the market offers a facility anywhere near this. It is truly valuable and makes the process so much simpler”, says Jeff Goldsworthy of Goldsworthy Financial Solutions.
“OPTIMUS® was launched in August last year and was developed on the basis of recommendations from TOWER Health & Life’s independent advisers. This latest update to the Best Practice component demonstrates TOWER’s commitment to working with independent advisers to help them meet ongoing regulatory requirements - in a way that benefits their business as well,” says Steve Boomert, CEO of TOWER Health & Life Limited.

OPTIMUS® is available to all TOWER Health & Life independent advisers on completion of TOWER’s training and accreditation program.
