The frustrations farmers face over spray equipment not meeting their expectations and the weather putting a dampener on their spraying efforts may soon be over.

A well respected New Zealand rural equipment supplier is introducing a revolutionary range of spray equipment to New Zealand aimed at alleviating these issues.

Hustler Equipment Sales is launching its new SpraySmart range of Brazilian agricultural spray equipment from the world’s largest sprayer manufacturer, Jacto.

While the products are imported from Brazil, Hustler has done extensive research and the new range is backed up by the same excellent service and support of Hustler’s nationwide accredited dealers.

For more than 45 years the family owned and operated business has been building and distributing top quality machinery to meet the changing needs of the rural sector.

The SpraySmart range aims to tackle the problems farmers face with spray equipment such as spray drift and waste, ongoing maintenance, cumbersome booms and most importantly, reducing overall operating costs.

Hustler sees farmers constantly frustrated with their spraying equipment not performing the way they need it to, so have searched the world for products that will alleviate their concerns.

They knew they had to find high quality products that would easily fit onto tractors and machinery in New Zealand therefore being a cost effective choice.

What sets SpraySmart apart from the rest is the use of ceramic piston pumps which use a third of the moving parts of the more traditional rubber diaphragm pumps, resulting in less maintenance and a product more resistant to abrasive chemicals requiring less power to operate.

Products in the range take away the reliance on ‘good’ weather spraying due to a ‘VORTEX air boom’ which applies the spray more accurately, reducing wind drift, evaporation and meaning spraying can be done any time of the day in most weather conditions.

Waste is always a concern when spraying, so the chemical mixing tank and triple wash system reduces waste, contamination and allows for less chemical handling risks.

Another feature of the SpraySmart range is the versatility of mechanical agitation. A propeller in the tank ensures a consistent chemical mix yet uses less horsepower than regular spray units to operate. The SpraySmart range agitates the chemical mixture using both the mechanical and venturi agitation systems providing more versatility when using a variety of fertilisers and sprays.

There are more than 300 products in the SpraySmart range from knapsacks to self-propelled models and are available from Hustler’s accredited dealer locations nationwide.
