Pride In Print Awards Promise Glittering Night

Pride In Print Awards Promise Glittering Night

Christmas will come early for some lucky print companies on Friday when the glitterati of New Zealand’s printers, packagers, graphic designers and allied trades meet in Wellington for the coveted Pride In Print Awards.

The country’s most prestigious print event has attracted a big turn-out for the presentation ceremony at the Wellington Convention Centre followed by a celebration dinner at the Wellington Town Hall.

Award Manager Sue Archibald has promised a “cracker” of an evening for the industry with a Chicago Gangster theme to the entertainment.

“We’ll be poking a little fun at the events and happenings within the industry and giving people a chance to have a smile after suffering from the grim recession that has affected the country.

“In times of adversity it is essential to find some things to give you a lift – and the quality of our entries and particularly our winners will bring a boost in spirits to the industry.

“Pride In Print success will also pave the way for marketing success on the national and international scene, as has been proved by past winners who have gone on to use their medals as a testimonial to their quality standards.”

A few tickets still remain and can be obtained from the Pride In Print office at 04 237 0482.

The Awards are sponsored by Heidelberg, Spicers Paper, Huber Group (Hostmann- Steinberg) and Fuji Xerox.
