Huffer – Up, up and away at ANZFW
With only a week until heels hit the runway at Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2009, Huffer is putting on its fancy pants and getting ready to close the week in its usual ‘Grand Finale’ style. And here’s a sneak peek of what to expect…
Its not a bird or a plane but Huffer’s winter 2010 collection, inspired by ‘FLY’, is set to wow audiences at next Friday’s show. Guests will see the collaboration between the Huffer team and NZ designer Kristine Crabb come to life on the runway with over 35 looks for the season.
It’s Kristine's diversity of thoughtful and saXy SILHOUETTE'S that has injected some craZy into the Huffer women’s collection for 2010. Her designs include cropped denim jackets, tummy exposing knit tops, hotly constructed denim bustiers and cropped hooded sweats…WoAh. Accompanying the collection is DimitySO, the latest and hottest offering from Bendon, that will be exposing itself on a model near you, but you didn’t hear it from us, ok?
“FLY in front of all of your adversities, love them and leave them, let them erupt, nothing and everything matters like who gives a ….” says Huffer’s Dan Buckley.
Music will be provided by one of New Zealand’s hottest music talents, Coco Solid, who is fresh from the Red Bull Music Academy in 2008. Huffer’s down with Coco’s signature underground electro-rapper sound and Miami and Detroit booty-bass style…are you?
Huffer would like to thank Audi for letting us invade your space, Steinlager Pure for coming to the party for a second year, Gravity Coffee for giving everyone a boost at the end of a long week, Casio for keeping us on time, MAC, Ryder & KMS for keeping us beautiful and Red Bull for giving us wiiiings!
