Teen Wins Most Inspirational Role Model

Teen Wins Most Her Business Inspirational Role Model Award

The first Wellington Her Business Awards on Friday night proved to be a large success.

Organized by Wellington Her Business Network Co-ordinator Sally Connell and her team, the evening saw over 150 guests all come together, anticipating to see the 7 category winners revealed.

But it was 19 year old author, speaker and family coach Eva-Maria who took home the Most Inspirational Role Model Award, sponsored by City Life.

Guests at the awards night included Annah Stretton, Dame Susan Devoy, and MC Mark Blumsky.

Eva-Maria shocked the audience with her age and work achievements, resulting in roaring applause. The teen author is on a mission to help improve 1,000,000 adult-teenager relationships around the world, and with this award she hopes to take her work to the next step, and get other teens involved in helping improve relationships between adults and teenagers, on a larger international scale. She plans to do this through the medium of a non-profit organisation she's setting up called Trust Your Future.

Her book 'You Shut Up!' took many parents around the world by surprise, and has attracted alot of attention with its controversial title, and solidly honest content, able to improve relationships between adults and teenagers.

Eva-Maria is currently travelling for speaking and coaching, with a TV Show in the plans for 2010, as well as her next step with the Trust Your Future Organisation.
