Designworks named finalist in 2010 Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards

Designworks has underlined its credentials as a key player in the New Zealand business scene after being named a finalist in the 2010 Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards.

The Wellington and Auckland design agency is a finalist in the $5m-$10m category of the prestigious awards, which recognise businesses that have achieved results for their customers despite the challenges of the very different economic environment.

Sven Baker, partner at designworks said: “This reflects our commitment to leading design thinking and delivering tangible business results and highlights how our unique and innovative approach has supported some of New Zealand’s leading companies and organisations in the past 12 months.

“Being named a finalist tops off a tremendous year for the designworks team. We pride ourselves on our ability to support our clients through the changing business landscape with the right ideas to help them achieve their longer term goals.”

The annual Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards are now in their sixth year.

The awards are a key event in the lead up to the annual Bizzone Business Expo, New Zealand's largest event for business. The winners will be announced on 20 May at a gala black-tie dinner attended by over 400 guests at the Auckland Town Hall.
