Are you ready to play ball in 2011?
The world’s coming to Auckland in 2011. Are you
ready to play ball?
Next year up to 85,000 Rugby fans are coming to New Zealand to watch Rugby World Cup 2011. Among them will be well-connected investors, international business advisors, and representatives of multi-national corporations looking to combine their leisure time with business.
If there was ever a time to get your business in order; prepare for investment; and learn to network with international contacts - it’s now. You’re about to have a captive international audience.
At this final event in our Rugby World Cup 2011 Auckland Speaker Series, our guest speakers will present simple practical ways to get ready for Auckland’s biggest international opportunity to date.
Grant Fox, rugby legend, Managing Director of Carnegie Sports International NZ Ltd, and Auckland 2011 Ambassador, will talk about how you can leverage the opportunities the Rugby World Cup presents – from visiting investors, to businesses scouting for new suppliers, to tourism expenditure and international media exposure. He’ll also introduce the country’s two new business initiatives: the 2011 Business Club and KEA PassItOn, and explain how you can make the most of their events and opportunities.
Grant will be joined by successful businesswoman Erica Crawford, who will share her own personal journey with developing successful international connections. Together she and her husband Kim turned the small wine company they founded into an international brand, and from there shaped it to attract investment from Canadian giant Vincor International.
The Icehouse Chief Executive Officer Andy Hamilton will wind up the session by outlining realistic, actionable ways you can build your business’ capabilities in time to make the most of 2011’s opportunities.
Don’t miss this practical session that
may really open international doors for your business.
