95bFM Announces New Weekday Drive Lineup

6th December 2011 For Immediate Release

95bFM Announces New Weekday Drive Lineup

95bFM has bid a fond farewell to one of the most iconic broadcasters of our time, Mikey Havoc. From his humble beginnings on the one-off bFM by Candlelight slot in 1993 to his most recent residence at the helm of the weekday Drive show, Havoc’s 17-year ride at the station has been occasionally tumultuous, often controversial, and always entertaining.

With every cloud comes a silver lining, though, and bFM couldn’t be more excited about the raft of fresh talent coming on board to take over the bFM Weekday Drive show. While you may not recognize any of these kids’ names, the talents of this rag-tag bunch have been simmering just below the surface of bFM for a while now.

Mondays - Lia Kent Tuesdays - Charlotte Red Wednesdays - Kieran & Jesse Thursdays - Vince Wynn Fridays - Zac & Ethan

“95bFM is expanding the horizons of the on-air roster with ten new weekday Drive hosts and new weekend presenters. Mikey has set the tone for these young broadcasters – he is an industry icon and a rare talent,” says Manu Taylor, 95bFM’s Station Manager.

With his ability to foster the listener community, a fearless political acumen, and one of the broadest music tastes in the industry, Havoc has set the bar for his successors... but 95bFM knows these new hosts, and the listeners, are ready for the jump.
