Former Fonterra exec Andy Eakin named CFO at Goodman (NZ)

Dec. 7 (BusinessDesk) – Goodman (NZ) Ltd., the manager of Goodman Property Trust, named Andy Eakin as chief financial officer, replacing George Crawford.

Eakin, most recently group reporting manager at Fonterra, will take the new job effective from March next year. He is a chartered accountant and previously held positions at Landco and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

When Crawford’s departure was announced on Oct. 5, the management company also said it would create two new executive roles – general managers for property and finance.

The trust last month reported first-half revenue was little changed at $53.1 million while distributable earnings fell 3.1% to $38.5 million, reflecting higher financing costs.

Shares of the trust fell 1.1% to 92 cents today.
