2degrees makes groundbreaking offer permanent

NZ’s first ‘talk as much as you like’ plan 2degrees makes groundbreaking offer permanent

Auckland, 18th April - Due to demand, 2degrees is making New Zealand’s first ever ‘talk as much as you like’ Pay Monthly Plan a permanent offer from today.
Trialled since December, the ‘Pay Monthly $149 Plan’ is the only offer in the market, which gives both the individual user and business customer the freedom to talk as much as they like for a fixed monthly fee.

The $149 Plan covers all standard national calls to any NZ mobile and landline*, so customers can keep talking without worrying about the size of their bill. The plan also comes with 1000 texts to anyone in NZ plus 250MB of 3G data.

While offers like this have been available to mobile users overseas for some time, the $149 Plan is the first and only offer of its kind in NZ. And Kiwi mobile users can now enjoy the offer on a permanent basis, on a 12 or 24 month contract or month by month.

“This offer will change the way people in New Zealand use their mobile,” says 2degrees Chief Marketing Officer, Larrie Moore. “Being able to call anyone, any time and talk for as long as you like without being charged a cent more for it is a completely new concept for most mobile users here. It’s offers like this that change the market for the benefit of consumers. Anyone spending over $149 a month on their mobile phone needs to seriously consider this plan.”

With an announcement regarding the regulation of Mobile Termination Rates coming at the end of the month, 2degrees has already started to pass the benefits on to New Zealand consumers. With as much any network talk time as you want, 1000 texts and 250MB of data, the 2degrees $149 Pay Monthly Plan offers consumers one of the best calling plans in the country.

*Standard calls exclude calls to premium rate numbers (e.g. 018, 0900) or when roaming overseas. A fair use policy applies.
