Solutions -
Futurestep, a Korn/Ferry Company (NYSE: KFY) specializing in talent acquisition solutions, has announced the opening of its Service Management Center (SMC) in Auckland, New Zealand. The new center marks the latest in the global deployment of Futurestep's SMC network, following closely on the March opening of its Australian facility in Sydney.
Futurestep's SMC operations are based in multiple locations around the world, providing technology infrastructure, research and consulting resources, and best-practice processes to support the company's global service delivery model. With a focus on sourcing and managing candidate relationships, SMCs have enabled Futurestep to build a deeper capability for its recruitment solutions and to establish proactive relationships with candidates in markets around the world. Key advantages to the SMC model are its robust technology infrastructure, ability to apply operational metrics to drive performance, and its ability to scale operations quickly in response to changing client needs.
To date, the centralized team of specialists in the SMC in Sydney has provided essential support for clients across key industries, including industrial, consumer, government, financial services and technology. The center's scope of operations cover multiple countries in the region, and it is an integral part of Futurestep's SMC global service delivery model. Key activities have included development of global multi-channel sourcing strategies, advertising, research and screening, talent mapping and name generation. The center in New Zealand provides services to clients across the same industries, playing a notable role in Futurestep's long-term and expanding RPO relationship with Fonterra, the world's leading exporter of dairy products and responsible for more than a third of international dairy trade.
"The Auckland Service Management Center provides a great advantage in driving value for Futurestep clients in New Zealand and around the world," said Nick Simcock, Managing Director, Futurestep New Zealand. "It's very exciting to see the tremendous positive impact we are able to provide through the SMC model, and we look forward to applying our advantages to reinforce our position as a global leader in talent acquisition solutions."
"Futurestep's Sydney Service Management Center plays a key role in our ability to deliver world-class solutions to clients in Australia and throughout the APAC region," said Sue Tuffley, Managing Director, Futurestep Australia. "Our SMCs apply the high caliber of research and support resources, technology and global processes needed to provide the quality of service and business value that our clients have come to expect."
In addition to the Australia and New Zealand locations, Futurestep SMCs are now active in China, India, the U.S. and Poland.
