Millbrook growth attracts strong sales professionals

Millbrook growth attracts strong sales professionals

Queenstown’s award-winning five-star Millbrook Resort welcomes two local and experienced professionals to its sales teams this month.

Longstanding local Julie Jolley takes the role of Sales: Wholesale and Groups working in Millbrook’s resort sector, while Queenstown property expert Julia Blanchard becomes a salesperson for the Millbrook Realty Ltd Property and Membership Sales team.

Ms Jolley brings a wealth of sales and marketing knowledge from her former Business Development Manager position at Crowne Plaza Queenstown. Her past hotel and destinational marketing and promotional history spans more than ten years and covers sales and marketing, strategic business planning, C&I (conference and incentive) visits and client activity management.

In 2009 she was also a Top 50 finalist in ‘The Apprentice NZ’.

Millbrook Resort General Manager David Onions said Ms Jolley’s timely appointment coincided with the resort’s continuing success story.

“Julie has the perfect set of skills for driving sales in our hotel accommodation, golf, spa and restaurant quarters, and she has all the right credentials to continue to help establish Millbrook’s presence in the national and international consumer and conference and incentive markets,” he said.

Ms Blanchard brings an extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for the Queenstown Lakes property sector, having previously worked for Locations Realty and Fletcher Living at Jacks Point.

Property and Development Manager Ben O’Malley said she was brought on board as part of the property team’s “changing structure” due to increasing housing stock and a greater degree of project marketing required for new developments.

“We wish to continue operating Millbrook Realty Ltd with a seven-day week on site representation, as the resort’s dedicated real estate company,” he said.

“Continuing demand for property here, coupled with a more expansive marketing programme locally and overseas, required an additional sales resource, and Julia was the perfect fit to work alongside long-term salesperson Austin Bragg.

“Teresa Chapman remains an integral member of the property team in a sales support role, which dovetails with her executive administration role to the GM and company directors.”

He said Mrs Blanchard joined the Millbrook Realty Ltd team in time for the launch of two new show homes at Coronet Square and McEntyres Tarn, opening this Easter weekend.

It is also timely for the imminent completion of Mill Green, Millbrook’s latest neighbourhood of exclusive home sites.
