Alivate Restaurant and Bar in Wanaka

Opening with a new look this Thursday - Alivate Restaurant and Bar in Wanaka.

The owners of Alivate Restaurant and Bar, which was previously known as The Reef Restaurant & Bar, are excited to present a stunning new menu, a refreshingly modern new look and a wine list best sampled whilst taking in the panoramic Wanaka view from the upstairs balcony.

“While we have enjoyed success with a steak and seafood style menu, we have been transitioning towards featuring decidedly seasonal flavours coupled with our extensive New Zealand wine list – we have paid special attention of course towards our Central Otago favourites,” says Chef and owner Chris Pearce.

From the outset in 2007 owners Chris and Anita Pearce and Lionel and Glenda Turnbull intended to revamp and rename the restaurant and over the past two and a half weeks as the painting and extensive renovations took place their vision has materialised.

The launch of Alivate Restaurant and Bar will become a reality, with the restaurant opening to the public on Thursday the 16 June.

Alivate Restaurant and Bar is situated on the first floor at 145 Ardmore Street, Wanaka.
