Brancott Estate celebrates Rugby World Cup 2011 and the new vintage with Limited Edition bottle
Brancott Estate™, creators of the original Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, has released a limited edition pack in New Zealand to celebrate being an Official Sponsor of Rugby World Cup 2011.
The flagship bottle, Brancott Estate Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011, will be the first Brancott Estate wine released from this year’s 2011 vintage.
Patrick Materman, chief winemaker for Brancott Estate comments, “We wanted to celebrate the first of our 2011 vintage and mark our sponsorship of Rugby World Cup 2011 with a commemorative bottle.”
“What better way to raise a toast to the Tournament than with the new vintage of the iconic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand’s quintessential wine style. 2011 was a winning year of quality in the vineyards, here's hoping it will be the same on the rugby fields.”
The limited edition packaging includes Rugby World Cup 2011 logos and a cap-band in gold foiling and royal blue.
The Brancott Estate Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011 limited edition pack will be available throughout New Zealand from early July (RRP $25.95) until the end of Rugby World Cup 2011 in late October.
