Turners hold no reserve home and garden auction this weekend

Turners to hold no reserve home and garden auction this weekend

Buyers will have an opportunity to find a bargain this weekend as Turners continue to auction electronics, home appliances and gardening equipment at no reserve.

Hundreds of items, which were recovered after the Christchurch earthquake in February, will be put under the hammer at Turners Auctions in Auckland.

The stock includes phones, printers, coffee machines, dishwashers, televisions, fridge freezers, washing machines, home theatre systems and gardening equipment, much of which only have minor scratches and packaging damage.

Everything will be sold at no reserve, which means the highest bidder for each item will take it home.

The auction follows four similar auctions that have run since the September 2010 earthquake, two in Christchurch and two in Auckland.

The two-day auction will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August at Turners Auctions, 100 Gavin Street, Penrose, Auckland.

Customers are able to view and inspect the goods in advance of the auction between 10am and 4pm on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 June.

For a full catalogue of all the lots in the auction, including photos, visit www.turners.co.nz.
