iSite applies for clearance to acquire OTW billboard assets

iSite Limited applies for clearance to acquire billboard assets of O.T.W Advertising Limited

The Commerce Commission has received an application from iSite Limited seeking clearance to acquire up to 100 per cent of the billboard assets of O.T.W Advertising Limited.

iSite is a wholly owned subsidiary of Infratil Limited, a publicly listed company based in Wellington. iSite provides outdoor and ‘out of home’ advertising including billboards and airport advertising.

O.T.W is a New Zealand owned billboard advertising company which operates billboard sites throughout New Zealand.

In considering the application, the Commission’s role is to determine whether the acquisition has the effect of substantially lessening competition in a market.
