Free youth study places available at Whitireia in 2012

There are a number of places available for school leavers to study one of the “Youth Guarantee” programmes being run at Whitireia campuses in Wellington City, Porirua and Kāpiti in 2012.

If you are a school leaver between the ages of 16-17 enrol now for full-time study on one of the following programmes; Certificate in Work Skills (Hospitality and Tourism), Certificate in Work Skills (Retail and Cosmetic Services), Certificate in Work Skills (Office Skills/Computing), Certificate in Beauty and Hairdressing, Certificate in Outdoor Adventure, Certificate in Trade Skills, Certificate in Automotive Engineering, Certificate in Carpentry, Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Certificate in Plumbing, Drainlaying, Gasfitting and Roofing.

Studying at Whitireia gives you access to experienced tutors, excellent training facilities, great student support and career guidance. All Whitireia youth programmes include literacy and numeracy support and provide individual learning plans for students.

Youth Guarantee programmes start in early February 2012, are free, full-time and run for the year.
