A new, exciting DieselGas dual-fuel kit is now on the market
DieselGas appoints a distributor in Thailand
In a coup for Energy Serv Co Ltd (Enserv), the company was announced Thailand Distributor for DieselGas International Ltd’s products (marketed under the ‘GasMax’ brand in Thailand) at the recent Bus and Truck Show Expo in Bangkok.
At the expo, Enserv unveiled its display of the DieselGas dual-fuel kit (for Hino J08C-TT engines), which can now be bought in Thailand. Managing Director of Enserv Sutepong Puchana made the announcement. “The DieselGas kit fills a unique place in the Thai market as the dual-fuel conversions replace up to 80% of the diesel with CNG on commercial driving cycles and saves fleet owners more than 50% in fuel costs,” Puchana said.
It took 12 months of exhaustive testing and plenty of perseverance to get the product on the market. “The Thai market has presented a particular challenge to maintain engine power within specification as the natural gas is drawn from 4 different well sites with the CNG energy value varying up to 30%” says DieselGas Managing Director Harvey Reid.
Cutting the ribbon to open the display was Karen Campbell, New Zealand Trade Commissioner to Thailand. New Zealand Trade and Enterprise has supported DieselGas’s entry into the Thai market with its environmentally-friendly initiatives such as replacing imported diesel with indigenous natural gas and air-quality improvement programmes.
