Chen Palmer Expands Ties With Auckland

Press Release: for immediate release

Chen Palmer Expands Ties With Auckland

Chen Palmer New Zealand Public and Employment Law Specialists has announced that it will be expanding into Auckland.

“We are branching out to be closer to our clients who operate in Auckland. Seventy percent of our public law clients are in Auckland, and many of our employment law clients. The expansion into Auckland will allow us to be onsite for their day to day needs while maintaining the current Wellington office of 18 lawyers allows us to be down the road from the Beehive. This is the best of both worlds.”

“A strong physical presence in Auckland is also becoming increasingly important because it is the home of so many entrepreneurs and to facilitate working with Asians wanting to do business in NZ. We are also working with a growing number of Maori clients and also Pasifika clients in what is the world’s largest Pacific city. Auckland is now becoming a city state in its own right, creating a number of local and central government issues”.

Ms Chen said “Wellington is the home of government and Chen Palmer will continue to work in the Capital at the cutting edge of public law and employment law. However, it is also important for the firm to be on the ground in Auckland, which is New Zealand’s business capital.”

Chen Palmer will be celebrating its 20th birthday in 2014. The expansion to Auckland completes the New Zealand leg of the vision when Chen Palmer was established.” said Ms Chen.

About Chen Palmer - Chen Palmer has been awarded the Best Public Law Firm for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011; the award for best boutique law firm in 2010; and was a finalist in 2011 for Best Employment Law Firm. For more information about Chen Palmer, go to www.chenpalmer.com.
