ASB opens full-service branch at Auckland Hospital
ASB customers visiting and working in and around Auckland Hospital will soon benefit from the convenience of a new branch.
Branch Manager Cherie Prescott says the desicion to open a new branch, located in a new building at 2 Park Road, Grafton builds on ASB’s previous support of Auckland Hospital and committment to support the local community.
“Auckland Hospital is an integral part of life in Auckland and we are pleased to open this branch to help meet the needs of patients, customers visiting the Hospital and those who work in and around the area,” she says.
“This new ASB branch strengthens our on-going support of the Auckland Hospital community. Our partnership with The Starship Foundation continues to grow with the recent opening of the interactive story-wall celebrating our twenty-year relationship, while we continue to work in a strong partnership with St John to support the health of local communities,” says Ms Prescott.
The branch, nestled between the entrance to Auckland’s Domain and the main entrance to Auckland Hospital, offers easy access to the main hospital area that includes National Women’s Hospital, Starship Hospital, Auckland Hospital, Auckland Medical School as well as well as being close to busy Cartlon Gore Road.
The new Auckland Hospital branch will offer the latest in banking technology including:

conference phone for customers to access a wide range of ASB
specialists face to face.
“Our Auckland Hospital branch staff are looking forward to assisting ASB customers in any way they can,” Ms Prescott says “We are pleased to be a part of the growing Hospital community and making day-to-day life simpler by providing easy access to full banking facilities in a convenient location.”
The new branch is due to open on Monday 27 August and will be open five days a week between 9:00am and 4:30pm. Two ATMs and a secure dropbox for customers to make deposits will be available to customers 24 hours, seven days a week.
